Digital marketing & SEO for therapists

Hi, I'm Jess. I help therapists get found online.

You got into this work to help people, not to wrestle with Google. I work only with therapists and mental health practitioners across Canada, and I'd love to help you build an online presence that feels like you and helps the right clients find their way to your door.

A note from Jess

I'm a content strategist who works only with therapists

Some of the best things aren't planned. During my Master's in Strategic Communication, I ran a focus group, and one of the participants was an art therapist. Something clicked. I showed her what I could do with her website and her Google presence. She hired me, and together we got her to page one for her specialty and city with a completely organic strategy.

The therapists in her network couldn't believe it, and she kept getting asked how. She passed my name along, and I've never looked back.

Honestly, I can't imagine doing this work for anyone else. Therapists are some of the most values-driven, thoughtful people I've ever worked with, and helping you reach the clients who are already out there looking for you feels like exactly the right use of what I do.

I'm based in Ottawa, ON. I have a background in journalism, a Master's in Strategic Communication, and I'm a queer, female-owned business.

My approach

Marketing for therapists needs nuance. Here's what that looks like.

And if marketing has always felt a wee bit spammy, or just plain exhausting after a full day of sessions, you're not alone. Most of the therapists I work with feel exactly the same way.

I don't work with plumbers or dentists or online shops. I work with therapists, and only therapists. So I already understand the ethics, the language, the clinical considerations, and how tricky it is to market something so deeply personal.

Your clients aren't shopping for a product. They're looking for safety, understanding, and the right fit, and your website can start offering that before they ever send you a message.

My approach is trauma-informed and values-aligned. That means no pushy tactics, no misleading claims, and nothing that conflicts with your professional guidelines. Just clear, specific, ethical marketing that works, explained in plain English.

Who I work with

Therapists in private practice across Canada

I work with registered psychotherapists, counsellors, psychologists, and social workers in solo and small group practices. Most of the folks I work with are seeing clients most of the day and have very little left over for marketing. That's exactly who I built this for.

Wherever you practise, in any province or territory, if you're a therapist in private practice who wants to show up on Google and fill your caseload more consistently, let's chat. (Here's what matters in your province or territory.)

You're probably a good fit if:

  • You rely on Psychology Today and word of mouth, and you know it's not quite enough
  • You have a website, but it isn't bringing in clients
  • You want to be found for your niche, not just “a therapist”
  • You want marketing that feels ethical and in line with your values
  • You're ready to invest in something sustainable, at a pace that works for you

Find out what your therapy website is missing in five minutes.

I made a free checklist of the nine things I look at every time I review a therapy website. Grab a cup of tea, run through it yourself, and get an instant read on where your site stands and what to fix first. No jargon, no form to fill out, no pitch.

Most therapy websites I've reviewed have gaps in at least three of these. A few have gaps in all nine. Neither is a disaster; they're just starting points.
