From a very young age, I was the kid who'd gather my family in the living room for dramatic readings of stories I'd written from scratch, plot twists and all. Over the years, I've turned that love into a career helping others tell their stories in a way that's strategic and meaningful.
A content strategist for therapists, counsellors, and wellness professionals
Today, I'm a content strategist and digital marketing consultant based in Ottawa, ON. My business specializes in digital marketing for therapists, counsellors, and wellness professionals. I bring the same things to every project: a journalist's curiosity, a strategist's brain, and a genuine love of connecting people through content.
Many of the folks I work with are therapists in private practice: solo practitioners, group practices, and clinicians branching out into things like courses, workshops, or retreats.

- 01
From journalism to strategy
I started out as an award-winning journalist. That's where I learned to tell a story with clarity and purpose, even on a tight deadline, and it shapes everything I do today.
- 02
Bridging creativity & analytics
When I moved into marketing and communications, I found I loved the mix of creativity and strategy: content that people actually enjoy reading, and that does its job, too.
- 03
Supporting mental health professionals
These days I work with therapists, counsellors, and wellness providers, helping them get clear on their message and grow their reach ethically, with content that genuinely connects.
- 04
Rooted in empathy & purpose
Whether it's one blog post or a full campaign, everything I write starts with listening, aims for clarity, and comes from a deep respect for the work my clients do in the world.
Listening first, strategizing second
Every project starts with me listening. Whether we're working on a single landing page or a whole content strategy, I want to hear your voice, your mission, your goals, and, just as importantly, what feels hard right now. Then we'll shape your message around what your ideal client needs to hear.
What you end up with is clear, effective content that feels like you, and that the people you want to help actually connect with.
Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and always learning
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Carleton University and a Master's in Strategic Communication from Washington State University. I believe strongly in continued learning, and I bring a research-backed, trauma-informed perspective to all my work.
I'm hardworking, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven (that journalist hustle never really leaves you). I take initiative, I keep you in the loop, and I care a lot about getting your work to you when I said I would.
I was born and raised in North Vancouver, and these days I call Ottawa home. I work with therapists all across Canada, from wherever my laptop and a good cup of coffee happen to be.
When I'm not writing or strategizing, you'll likely find me hanging out with my wife, our 140-pound Great Pyrenees, and our daughter, Lenny, taste-testing a new recipe, or playing a game of floor hockey. I also love a good podcast, a great piece of long-form journalism, and any excuse to talk about typography.
If any of that sounds like someone you'd like to work with, I'd love to hear from you.
